PK-G2 Field Trip to Jungle Land

Our PK - G2 students will be heading to Jungle Land for adventure! They will also be playing with balls, jumping & walking in tunnels  and participating in many fun, educational activities! Registrations forms have been sent home. Deadline is Thursday, May 31st.

Last Day of School

Our last day of school is June 15th and it will be a half day. Pick-up time is at 12:00pm from your child's classroom. There will be no after care service that day. We wish you and your family a wonderful fun-filled summer vacation! Thank you for a successful school year and we can't wait to see you again in September!

Off Electronics Week

During this week, students are encouraged to give up all electronics to raise money for Anba Abraham Coptic Charity, a charitable organization that aims at serving the local and global communities by educating, empowering and equipping them to break the poverty cycle. The goal is to impact their lives in a positive way and empower them to be independent. Through this exercise, we are also teaching pupils the values of communication, giving and self-control. CAT 4 Tests

Our grades 1-6 are going to complete their CAT-4 exams on June 1st, which assesses the essential learning outcomes of the following basic skill areas in mathematics. Results are used to help us evaluate our curriculum needs and the standard of our school.

Family Fun Fest!

How it Works
Each month, the students who receive this honor will be rewarded a special invitation to McDonald’s with the principal and a special reward.
  • Be a diligent student
  • Demonstrates responsibility
  • Complete assignments on time
  • Show strong efforts to learn the subjects
  • Show outstanding behaviour inside and outside the classroom
  • Is well mannered and respectful to peers and teachers
  • Follows classroom / school rules and expectations
The MCFS student of the month is chosen based on qualities such as character, leadership, and citizenship, not necessarily academics. The student of the month must have the following characteristics:
The student of the month must also display excellent citizenship by aligning him/herself with MCFS school values. Lastly, he/she shows exemplar character through his/her compassion, honesty, trustworthiness, responsibility, optimism and loyalty in creating a positive school environment. Each month, the classroom teacher, special area teachers, and administrators can nominate students for that month. One boy and one girl can be selected from each grade level as long as they have met the criteria. Our goal is to have 100% student participation by June in each grade. The students will have demonstrated the “Big Three”:
  • Do the Right Thing
  • Do Your Personal Best
  • Treat People Right
