Meet Team Awesome!
What makes our school stand out from others is our staff team. Our teachers go the extra mile with each of our students. They treat each child as if they were the only ones in their class. They respect the individuality of every student while challenging them to develop their full potential. It is not unusual for you to see joint classes where teachers collaborate together for a cross-curricular activity to maximize students’ learning experience. We embrace a collaborative and encouraging team spirit and as colleagues, we strive to esteem each other better than ourselves.

God has ignited a passion in me to see lives transformed and I truly believe that as teachers we have one of the greatest opportunities to see that happen in a positive way. In addition, I see each student as capable learners and it is my mission to help each of them thrive academically. Fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment is also important to me because it helps promote student success. Moreover, I believe every child has so much potential so I want to push them beyond their limits academically. I want to look back on my life and see each child using their educational tools to change the world for Jesus.32 years of teaching experience OCT CertifiedMusic Teacher & LibrarianTeaching music is a world within itself, with a language we all understand. My mission as a teacher is not to dispense information for the students to memorize and reproduce, but to direct the early steps of their journey of discovery and self-discovery in ways that stimulate their astonishment and curiosity, enabling them to grow into critical thinkers capable of independent judgement, sound decisions, and responsible actions.
