Meet Kristina

 My Favourite Christian School

Hello my name is Kristina Schaaf and I’m very proud that I got learn to speak French at Mississauga Christian French School. MCFS is like a second home to me because I’ve been there from SK to Grade 6. MCFS is a school where you learn to socialize in French and to relate friendships with the bible, which I loved. This school welcomed me in a very friendly way. Think of it this way: your child only speaks English and comes to MCFS. In just 1 year, your child will know all the French basics. In 2 years, your child might be able to start conversations in French.

When I graduated in grade 6, I was pretty sad to leave and I knew that I was going to miss this school, but at least I keep all the memories in my heart. Even though it’s a small and humble school, it’s an advantage for your child or children who will get most attention from the teacher. The education at MCFS is probably the best I could have asked for, mainly because all the teachers are friendly. Unlike most other schools, they give you a bunch of homework; at MCFS, you receive a fun educative learning experience.

And that’s why I recommend all parents to enroll their child or children to MCFS. Quality is much better than quantity.

How it Works
Each month, the students who receive this honor will be rewarded a special invitation to McDonald’s with the principal and a special reward.

  • Show strong efforts to learn the subjects
  • Show outstanding behaviour inside and outside the classroom
  • Is well mannered and respectful to peers and teachers
  • Follows classroom / school rules and expectations
The MCFS student of the month is chosen based on qualities such as character, leadership, and citizenship, not necessarily academics. The student of the month must have the following characteristics:
The student of the month must also display excellent citizenship by aligning him/herself with MCFS school values. Lastly, he/she shows exemplar character through his/her compassion, honesty, trustworthiness, responsibility, optimism and loyalty in creating a positive school environment. Each month, the classroom teacher, special area teachers, and administrators can nominate students for that month. One boy and one girl can be selected from each grade level as long as they have met the criteria. Our goal is to have 100% student participation by June in each grade. The students will have demonstrated the “Big Three”:
  • Do the Right Thing
  • Do Your Personal Best
  • Treat People Right
