Eligibility

Academic Standing

Non-French speaking parents are welcomed in our school and are not required to possess the French language in order for their child to be admitted at MCFS. A confidential report from your child’s school is required to be submitted to us by your child’s school prior to joining MCFS.

After meeting with the principal for a brief parent/student interview, your child must then complete an entrance assessment (required from grade 1 and up in order to determine the French level of your child). The principal will then determine the eligibility of your child at MCFS.  This process takes no longer than a week. We accept new students throughout the year.  We have provided you with our admission package to familiarize yourself with all the required documents.

Extracurricular Activities

With each season, MCFS offers new extra-curricular activities such as:

  • MadScience
  • Monkeynastics
  • TaeKwon Do
  • Spanish
  • Piano Lessons

In addition to these activities, students get the opportunity to go skating once every 3 weeks on a Friday afternoon. We always strive to introduce programs that are pertinent to both our students and parents and welcome recommendations for future programs.
