At MCFS, we care about every family. Throughout the year, we hold several events and
celebrate holidays to come together as one family. As a small way to say “Thank You” to all our
parents, we hold a monthly MCFS café where we serve breakfast to all our moms and dads who
believe in us and support us with their prayers, and school involvement. Alone you run fast,
together we run far – African proverb
MCFS curriculum weaves imagination and emotional engagement into every activity and every
subject. We connect the students’ personal experiences with what they are learning, and teach
them to engage multiple perspectives when considering any issue, which strengthens cultural
awareness, open-mindedness and flexible thinking.
The staff of MCFS strives to make every child feel loved and special, with none other but the
love of Christ. We treat every child as if he/she is the only one that exists and instill in each a
Christian education that allows them to grow their faith through the practice of a virtue each
month. In all that we do and teach, we ensure that students believe in themselves and each
other, their teachers and families, and grow up with a zeal to make a positive difference around
comes from being passionately engaged with what you are learning or doing. MCFS’s
curriculum is designed to answer the questions that naturally arise for students, at each grade
level, making the subject matter and their daily activities relevant and allowing students to
explore, investigate, and have fun with what they are learning.
“Play is the highest form of research” (Albert Einstein). Development is linked to play and
viewed as foundational for academic excellence, because it enables children to construct
knowledge through exploration, experiments, discovery and problem solving in unique ways. By
giving all of our students the space and the time to be playful in every setting, including the
classroom, MCFS helps our students develop the tools they’ll need to live joyful, successful
lives long after they have graduated.
